Explination:How to survive your first night in Minecraft

In Week 6 of Term 1 our class focussed on how to write great explanations. We wrote about how to survive your first night in Minecraft (the game a lot of us are obsessed with!).

Here is my writing, after I have self-assessed and peer-assessed my work.

Minecraft is a great survival game. Well you should play it even if it is only the demo.So im going to explane survive your first night of mine craft if you follow these simple instructions and then your on to free roaming.

Firstly check your surroundings many people have died straight away because they spawned next to dangerous mobs.Secondly you should start mining the nearest tree.when you have about twenty logs open your crafting interface and craft wooden planks using your freshly mined logs.Now use some planks to craft a crafting table, this will help you later in the game.You now need some efficient way to get logs to make a house.Now make some sticks and use the remaining wood to make a wooden axe to efficiently chop down trees.

House building is sometimes very very hard so look for a flat piece of ground usually you should live in the biome that you spawned in. There are seventeen biomes but you will probably only find five of them if you spawn in the jungle biome you will have a great amount of wood but a horrible sense of direction .To build a house you first you will need to build a floor followed by four four block high walls and a roof.

Well are you hungry you should doing activities lowers your hunger bar if you have full health and no hunger bars you will start losing health with full health it will take two mine minutes .So now you will need to place your crafting table somewhere out of the way right click it to open a larger crafting interface use wood and a stick to create a wooden sword. Make sure you can find your house if you get lost now you should go outside and find and kill as many animals as you can such as cow sheep and pigs witch drop in order raw beef,wool and raw pork chops.

Well after you have done that use three wool blocks and wood to make a bed soon you will be ready to increase the  efficiency of your tools by using rarer and rarer materials and the best thing is the crafting is all the same if you want to make an iron helmet it is exactly the same as making a leather cap.

Hey did you know that on minecraft psvita edition they had to take out some things. The thing that upsets me most about that is that they had to take out herobrine, that leaves me stuck trying to catch herobrine every day.Use shears to get wool off sheep without killing it if you find killing sheep sad or unright
